The same theory applies to relationship, the more you flirt around with different people, the distance between you and your loved one will become longer, as you will mold a mindset not to stay with someone for long, u feel bored with someone easily, and you always look for the best person. The mindset is built without you knowing it.
There are contracts for businesseses, non-profit projects, legal obligations, etc, but there can never be a contract for relationship, you can't define how much love you want to ditribute among few people, 25.9% for person A, 33.2% for person B..etc. You can't even define the time frame when a relationship should start and end, it is something so emotional, you will only stay with someone when you are more emotionally secured being with him/her.
